Volunteer with Pride
LubbockPRIDE is committed to recruiting dedicated, reliable volunteers to assist in the production and execution of our annual events. Though volunteers do not need to identify as LGBTQ+, it is imperative that all volunteers be LGBTQ+ affirming. Through training and support, LubbockPRIDE strives to empower volunteers and encourage participation in the organization’s annual planning.
What to expect from us
A safe place, free from discrimination, disrespect, and discouragement.
A suitable work assignment with consideration for personal preference, temperament, and experience.
Learn as much about the organization as possible, including its people and its programs.

Be Willing to Learn. Training is essential to any job.
Be Dependable. Follow through on your commitments. Don’t make promises you can’t keep.
Be a Team Player. We all have a role to play and important skills to contribute. We must work together.
